I think Mirallas may be played up top. Perhaps some of the likes of Gibson, Bowler, Foulds and Hennen will make the bench on Sunday hence why they haven't been called up. Probably not though.

Pretty sure they have to be British and/or at the club for more than 2-3 years to be added at this point?

You need to be homegrown, under 23 and been at the club over 2 years to be eligible as a non registered under age player.

Didnt they have a game last night though in one of the MM cups they're involved in this year. 2 games in 3 days probably a bit much.

Not many defenders thete so agree Mo will play CB.

Excited by Gordon though. Hope we get to see a bit of him. Tearing it up at U18 level so intetesting to see how he copes. Only 16.

That looks right based on the squad. Expect Hornby and/or Lavery to come on in place of Mirallas or paired with him about 60 minutes. Would love to see Gordon come on for Klassen at some point. After that maybe Broadhead at one of the other front 4 positions.

..only just seeing Gordon has travelled. Amazing given we have an FA Youth Cup tie on Friday (I think). Like you Fred, i’ve loved watching him since that summer tournament. For him to be involved at this stage confirms what lots of us have been thinking.

Im no expert on the younger lads, but a quick look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Everton_F.C._Reserves_and_Academy tells me that only 2 of those young lads are "defenders" Feeney and Collins, so I can only assume Besic will play at the back.

Interesting that none of the younger "names" are involved, like Gibson, Foulds, Bowler and Hennen for example.

Thinking they wouldnt take him unless they intended to give him some game time. Especially witj the youth cup fixture.
