I have and i like what i see tbh..i must phone the papers to tell them about it.

You see i have nursed me old mam till she died of cancer,no other person would do it you see,now that old girl died with dignity at the young age of 57,she ended up about 4 and half stone in weight and being as frigging clueless as i was back then i think i did an ok job of it.

Prior to her illness that killed her off she suffered with brittle bone disease,its not a wonderful sound to hear someones bones breaking when they just pick a cup of tea up i can tell you,but you see the point is this..not once did i ever hear that woman complain to anyone other than my dad (who died a few years before her final illness) but i guess they where made of sterner stuff than people today.

There are millions of unsung heroes out there who did and contiue to do what i did,without any monetary greed,just becuase its someone they love and do it to give themselves some peace knowing they did thier best for thier loved ones in thier last days.

What this Goody woman is doing is frankly contemptable,hell we might as well see her croak on tv..so honestly do yourself a favour,save any sympathy you may have for this woman (who i presume you've never met) and just think about all the other countless millions dieing and the people looking after them,it may give you a new perspective on things.

So yeah i think i can look at myself in the mirror with a very clear conscience to be honest

Just entered this thread and thought i'd put my tuppence worth into this debate.
First of all, if you cant stand someone, and then they get told they're going to die, changing your opinion of the person is wrong and hypocritical, whether they're dying or not. You dont respect someone because they're dying.

Ian Brady is on the verge of death, his vulgarity is on a much higher scale i know, but should we respect him? Think about it.



Not cashing in for herself? She's earned more than enough money already to see 2 maybe 3 generations of her family through. So she doesn't need to be earning all this money from all these pathetic headline stories in the papers.

She is USING HER DISEASE to earn this money, if she doesn't give every last penny to Cancer research to try and prevent others from going down the same route, she deserves no respect whatsoever.



Jade Goody is all over the OK magazine for her wedding. Her face is on the front of the paper, smiling straight into the camera, every day, if she's not posing for the media, what the hell is she doing?


If i could give ghost a green dot for every post in this thread I would, because he's got it nailed perfectly and hasnt been distasteful once.

Well for someone who has been affected by cancer and what it does, you should no better than to berate others that are suffering with the disease. Like i have stated, you dont have to like Goody nor have to sympathise with her, just to lay off her a little. Yes, she is getting money thrown at her, money that the average person would never see but that is the way of the world unfortunately. I cant say i blame Goody for taking what she can because i would do the same and donate an awful lot of cash to Cancer Charities once i passed away. If someone kept offering you vast amounts of money to look after your mum "god rest her soul", and in the process make things a little easier for you, would you have accepted it? I know i would have done.

Ghost and all that agree with him should have those green blocks removed and if i could, i would remove them myself. Ghost is so anti-media, anti-PR etc it is unbelievable. Be leader KJ, not a follower.

Your deluded pal. I'm not anti-media, anti-pr. But there are rights and wrongs.

PR when you have a record coming out, or a movie, or a book. Not when your dying.

It's also not about laying off Jade Goody, who are you to tell me or anyone else how we feel about this? I think she and Max Clifford are out of order. Regardless of whether or not I buy or read the Mirror is irrelevant, it's the fact that millions are people are suffering with all kinds of illness, and are not going to have anything to show for it.

She has been incredibly lucky, for someone so brainless and dumb, and untalented, she just happened to be in the right place at the right time, and said and did something incredibly stupid. This then sparked off Clifford who felt he could make some money out of her, like all agents do, they engineer a celebrity. Jordan, Kerry Katona, Jade, they are not talented, yet they have opportunities to earn money out of tabloids.

Now in life that's fine. PR Jade when she has a perfume coming out, or when Jordan is writing a new book. (i can't believe I just said that). But I'm sorry, Jade is apparently dying, does she still need to earn the money? Isn't there enough from her perfume, books, tv programme, salons to make ends meet?

You may like her Steevie, or think that she is doing a good thing for her family. But she has absolutely no dignity, she may as well get her kebab out again, as that is what made her famous in the beginning.

My wife reads the mirror, I read the Guardian or Times. She likes the celebrity bits in the middle. When we are reading our papers, she highlights things of interest. And as I went to Uni to study journalism, she thought that the shocking discontent given to those heroes was worthy of a mention to me. Ok?

Any self-respecting person would do the same.

She should be spending time with her family, behind closed doors, so no one else has to hear about it. There are millions of people who die of cancer or similar, you dont hear of them running to the papers telling them their story. They die in peace with dignity. Jade might have all the cash in the world, but dignity she has none.

Why?? my mum would have whacked me round the earhole for starters,feircly independent she was and i shudder to think about what she would make of society today.
