The media which is portarying her as a lovely sweet girl is the same media that condemned her as a monster a few years ago, it's hypocritical.

I know she can't stop the media circus alone, but the fact that politicans are getting involved and people who don't even know her are sending money to her is what's annoying me. I feel sorry for those who have nothing and can't afford treatment, why doesn't she come out and say something, it would mean she dies having left a much better impression on the world.

I dont need to provide logiical answers mate, that is where you, Ghost and MG need to come in. It is logic, common decency not to speak ill of any individual suffering with such an awful illness regardless how much money the said person has or does not have. Keep up this debate if you wish but you wont win so do your best not to make this into a point scoring competition.

Respect the ref campaign for example, if the referee is wrong constantly/bottles in situations/shows corruptness, who the hell should players & fans respect them.

Same applies in every walk of life, if the decency isn't reciprocated, then why on earth should we be have to respect her. After all you are telling us we should respect her.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread...your (baffling) logic suggests we should wish Ian Brady all the best and hope he rests in peace.

I think the media is partially to blame and partially goody herself, I am well aware she can't stop the media following her round, but she can stop giving interviews or at the very least try and add something that will make her seem like a good person rather than a moneygrabber which is how she is acting. She's not the saint some people are making her out to be and she's not scum of the earth, but you must be able to see why people are getting annoyed by her. She's done wrong in her past and until I see her giving something back to the world I won't change my opinion on her. Once I See this I will have gained a whole new respect for her, I wish her and her family well and hope the pain doesn't ruin her last days.

I'm not perfect but I resent people (not on this forum) saying I have a lack of compassion becaucse I don't read the stories thinking "That poor woman".

Thats a ****house way to live that. The way society is today, people are too quick to condemn someone for expressing their views and often label it as discrimination which is why most prefer not to view their opinions.

The subject of cancer can be really upsetting to some and in some cases very personal and distressing. But absolutely no way on earth should the topic force someone who has an opinion, to be scared of airing their views.

Jade's actions are pure selfishness and greed. She is a bimbo, and has played on that personality to make a living, which to start with is fair enough, earn your money, spend it, live the life of riley by all means.

But when she has cancer (a life threatening illness, that not only she has got but 1000's around the world have) and remains insistent on getting her mug on the front page of every paper, magazine and tv - earning cash, whether it be herself or her family, when all these sufferers are practically begging in their local community to scrape enough together to fly to america for treatment or whatever the case may be is down right disgusting.

This little girl lives not far from me and is a friend of a friend. Their family needed to raise £200,000 to get her treatment. Her parents have tried everyway possible, even made it on Granada news in a desperate attempt to Jade gets that for selling her pointless wedding in a magazine. Will this cash go to needy cases like the one above? I think not.

I believe my view to be entirely correct and will not keep it to myself, it would be wrong of me or anyone else to do so.

Regarding footballers, when debates over that ENTIRELY DIFFERENT TOPIC have occurred you will find that I have been against the disgustingly astronomical amounts players demand these days. A good example would be Ballack, £100,000 + per week claiming houses in london were too expensive when he arrived but thats for a different thread.

Different thread but very similar in principal. You claim Jade Goody is cashing in but the one answer i want answering that seems to have been evaded is how will she spend all this money?? The girl will be dead probably in less than two months. That really sounds like Goody is getting all this money through her own greed. Jumping to conclusions has also been one of several crimes commited by your good self and others by wishing her to put money to cancer charities which she most likely will do. This is my final word on this because i wish to avoid further unpleasantries and unnecessary fall outs.
