There's no way this is totally made up. Anyone thinking it is are likely the same ones that deny climate change and think the earth is flat.

Ask yourself why did they tell the media about the headlock. The directors could have skipped the game on police advice alone. Instead the club told the media about the headlock knowing how it would make the fans look. They’ve hurt the club by releasing that story deliberately for a reason- that’s to declare war on the fans and to gain sympathy for the board.

I can understand why you would think that. My question to you would be are you happy with how the club have handled our CEO being attacked then?

No action taken to identify or punish the perpetrator. No club statement after the event denouncing violent behaviour towards the CEO. No mention of it, even by 3rd parties for 11 days. Then on the day of a planned protest, releasing a vague, 1 sentence description of an event with no information about who carried out the attack.

If they had released a statement, do you think Everton fans wouldn't have been disgusted that somebody would do that?

You’re not wrong but just to be clear they didn’t skip the game on police advice but in the advice of their own security
