It's even more nuts than that. Who brought their cars to the ground?
Yeah, I can only assume they were going home with family members.
A simple 'players need to leave by official club transport' was all it would have taken.
But Mina just out on the street chatting to fans hours after the clubs directors apparently had to hide in fear.
none of it adds up.
I cant believe the press aren't picking up on the bigger picture here.

Mina fancied that little fat lad between 2 slices of heavily buttered Warburtons. He'd not have chatted otherwise. lol

Right back at you, but the opposite!
If it happened, it's very serious. The person responsible should be charged.

If it happened where the club claim it happened, they will definitely have a recording of it.

They haven't shared that recording with the police.

They haven't 'officially' made a statement about the headlock, only a club insider slipping it to Juliette Feathington of the BBC who ran with it.

I know what side of the argument I come down on.

The whole thing has blown up in their faces. Big time. This story will continue to snowball until the club either releases footage proving the incedent or say that the club insider leaked something that was either a downright lie or a vastly exaggerated story.

This last few days should be used in University teaching corporate communications as an example of how not to do it. It's up there with every tory Govt statement about the boozy parties, each utterance simply pouring more petrol on the fire.

From football royalty to an also ran to a laughing stock. One man has been present in some form throughout that decline.

He has a history of manipulating the press. Leaked club emails from years ago show they actually have a playbook for it. The difference this time is more and more fans are wise to it.

The only silver lining from of this is we won't ever see his grotesque, bloated form at Goodison ever again. It's just a real pity he's killed the Everton we know in the process.

Think it's just a matter of time before some sort of miscommunication excuse comes out from the club.

Unless they decide to keep digging which is entirely possible with that lot.

Sooner or later they will release an actual statement about the serious assault on Denise who was on club premesis. It's an employers responsibility to protect its staff.

They're scrambling, trying to find the right corporate speak for a 'terrible misunderstanding.'

It should be the next statement they make but I expect they'll continue to double down on their position until after Arsenal. After that they will be left in no doubt whatsoever they're not longer welcome anywhere near L4.
