Touché!Particularly in the digital age.
If only it was so easy.I dunno, He's a fairly big exception to the rule.
It doesn't matter what everyone else says.
What matters is that, given Wrights statement, and other aspects of all this, the board have lost all credibility with the media.
I cant imagine the likes of Lineker is to happy with the club either.
It's time for Evertonians to go for the jugular (peacefully of course) but during games.
First at W ham away and then a last stand at Arsenal at home.
We'll go in to that game with one or two loan signings and Lampard still in charge, with no word from the board and owner, none of whom will be there.
It'll be do or die at that point.
The Owner needs to agree to sell the club.
The CEO and board need to be replaced with temporary positions.
The manager needs to be replaced with someone who can insure safety.
For the first time in a very long time, Everton fans have the power to push this forward.
They know where to find me lollolI may not be the first to say this but @tommye with this thread may just have brought down this despicable house of cards for the future good of the club and, if so, he should have a statue in his name outside BMD.
Although, I suspect, it may be posthumous as he probably now has a price on his head ?
Well said. We need to keep our heads and not do kenwrights dirty work for him. He thinks he is playing Evertonians like a bad fiddle and i think there will be more provaracations to come. That board want to turn up to the arsenal match. Thats why its been put as high risk. We should let them attend. Dont give them any ammo to use against us the supporters. Hold another coach welcome. Create a proper Goodison atmosphere. Back the team all the way. But also let this shamful board and chairman know they are a disgrace. Write it on flags and banners. They are liars. They are traitors of the club and its supporters. Drape them over the upper bullens so they can see directly in front of them what the supporters think of them. Stay together blues. Dont fall for any of kenwrights tricks.….surely time for the Everton Fans Group to now demand an official response from the Board on the lack of evidence supporting their defamatory statements.
i said at the time, whoever is behind this has done nothing but drive an even greater wedge between the Board and its supporters. They have tried to be clever but they aren’t clever. It’s symptomatic of the whole sorry mess the club is in. There is no coming back from this.
in the meantime, it’s important fans act with dignity and maintain the moral high ground.
that's the thing tho, happens all the time.If only it was so easy.
Hear*Good to here Ian Wright come out and apologise for his wordS on the BBC Saturday and he is right now it's over between the fans and board, well and truly over.
I don't for one moment believe a word of that because @ForeverBlue92 , @Charlie Sweet and many other posters with 'blue' in their usernames told me that it happened. As I`ve mentioned before, one of my immediate neighbours is a respected sports journo, for a broadsheet, who`s main employ is to cover Everton and the RS.
I spoke with him this morning.
In his own words, the press office from Everton phoned the Echo sports desk, prior to the match, on Saturday morning, leaking the story of the alleged headlock.
The phone call was taken by an inexperienced, young journo, who made no attempt to do any kind of investigation into the validity of the claims.
A simple phone call or email, to the Police Match Commander at Goodison, would`ve sufficed. Which would`ve shown, that there was no police record of an incident, as alleged by the club. At that point alarm bells should`ve started going off.
Instead, he then started contacting all manner of sports journos, on behalf of the Echo ( including my neighbour ) and gave them the story.
One of them was O`Keefe, ex Echo and now of the Athletic.
Despite his vast reporting experience, O`Keefe did nothing to check the validity of the claims and ran with the story immediately, where as my neighbour and many other journos hung back, whilst they checked the story out and as a result of finding no provenance to the story, decided to hang back from reporting on it.
Again in his own words, the whole thing can only have been initiated by someone on board, as there is no way, a " rogue " member of the press office would ever leak something so specific and so detailed, without it being signed off by someone upstairs.

Just need Lineker to apologise mateGood to here Ian Wright come out and apologise for his wordS on the BBC Saturday and he is right now it's over between the fans and board, well and truly over.

People don't make outlandish claims unless it's true. We've been schooled about this this week.
