So you think football would simply cease to exist without those clubs? Who's being naive?
You are being hopelessly naive if you think those clubs will be permitted to fail. If they go, our money stream will dry up and we will falter. Our finance is linked with their participation in the league.
Without them, the collective attraction of the PL drops massively and the money dries up. All clubs have lost money this season. Another hit could send many clubs under.
Whave been shielded by our owner and relatively lower reliance on match day revenue. Many other clubs have not.
Do I think football will cease. No not really.
However, many many clubs could go to the wall and I don’t think that is an acceptable price to pay.
You can’t make the punishment cause the situation we are trying to prevent.

- Record breaking fine
- Points deduction
- Ban from qualification to Europe for at least 1 season
- Complete review and overhaul of the rules to make sure that nothing like this can ever happen again and to make sure that there is a big 20 and not just a slimy 6.
- Over seeing body and supporter involvement.
- And finally 1 minutes laughter at all the grounds for Spurs being part of the self appointed 6 in the first place. Someone was definitely having a laugh and so it should be met with one.

The actual punishment will be.

Don't let it happen again you very naughty boys.

This came up on Twitter earlier.

I'm saying a fine as a punishment because I don't believe the FAPL have the nuts to relegate/points deduction.

Somebody suggested 10m, laughable as that's less than half a Rhian Brewster.

What do you feel is appropriate?
Money doesnt hurt them.

You have to starve them of success.

Bans from competitions and bans from transfers.

Your "statement" was ill informed and a child's attempt to insult, like so many on social media you'll hurl insults online, but in real world situations you're fortunate nappies are sold in adult sizes.
So you only picked out the bits which offended you? As opposed to the points as to why you shouldn’t get special dispensation (again).
You aren’t on my level, go play with someone else.

I'll ask again - what do you mean by preferential treatment???

Preferential over who?
Over all of the other clubs who have been punished for their owners wrong doings.

Is it really that difficult to take on board FFS? I presume you have a reasonable level of intelligence, try using it.

CHUMP?...do your really believe using upper case is intimidating?
Do try to grow up.lol
I'm well and truly grown up fella.
In fact i've been going the game for over 50 years , home & away some years.

At the height of my support i like all blues fans had our finest team ripped apart and a period we have never recovered from for an injustice that our team & fans had nothing to do with.

There's plenty on here spelt this out to you , many teams & fans have been punished for injustices they had no part in .
Your narrative of the fans of the Scab 6 clubs shouldnt be punished for the actions of their owners doesnt wash & their clubs should take any medicine dished out , as goes with the territory.

OK - so lets go again....

What precedent set previously suggests a punishment that is not preferential???

Suspended deduction of points if it acts as a deterrent.

I am saying that by not fining and deducting points for your clubs wrong doings, you would be receiving preferential treatment.

I am categorically stating that the behaviour of the owners should bring punishment on the club.

they should not be shown “preferential treatment” because of who they are, or because it affects the fans and the players.

this is all very clear and easy to understand.

the words are easy to stand for sure. But for it to be preferential treatment, there would be need to be a fixed punishment or a precadent to be measured against.

If they went into admin & the PL said, don't worry about it, you're too big to be docked points - that is preferential treatment.

Any punishment here, because of its first time nature isnt preferential. You could see them relegated 4 divisions, in that case did wigan get preferential treatment because the were only docked points?

Looks like they just won't be allowed on committees temporarily for a bit

Wow, what a punishment...

I was going to write earlier that UEFA will act with the strongest possible sanctions, each club will only have two tickets to the end of season gala. Uefa are upset they had to go to such lengths but they felt they had no choice given the severity of the crime...
