Yes they will wait until the end of the season to decide the punishment of the not so super 6, this will give them more time to buy a new carpet and a very large brush.

It would seem logical that they are trying to get the Spanish and Italian leagues to agree to a uniform punishment. Hypothetically speaking, the Prem will not want a situation in which they relegate the six shysters but Juve, Real, Barca, and co get a small fine only. They would view that as weakening their product against their competitors.

Get all 6 clubs to play in a pre-season 'super dooper scab league'.

Winner, whilst forbidden to have a trophy or parade, has to donate £30 million quid, to be divided equally amongst Championship, League 1 and 2 teams.
So, fine them 1 and a quarter Rhian Brewsters?

My initial vote was 100m fine, but since the usual sheet sniffers in the press have started the charm offensive my stance has hardened.

Juventus were relegated for match fixing.

The ESL was an extra 300m per season for the next 23 years. That's doping in any other sport.

Fine them 300m each (1 seasons payments) and make it clear they got off lightly.

The PL has in their rules the option to impose "unlimited fines with no option to appeal."

Now is the time.

UEFA talking about hitting the 3 final clubs the hardest. Sort of understandable but the driving forces should be made an equal example of in my opinion.

They’ll get away with it. The football authorities are so weak, they accuse the six of greed then when it comes to taking action against them all they came are their own £ signs. If it was another set of six clubs in the prem this would have been sorted by now.

We probably would have to be fair.

Since you are on here, what do you think would be an appropriate response from the league?

It seems to me that some sort of punishment is required, but nothing that damages the league.
Relegate all 6 to league 2. The other clubs can all benefit from full stadiums against them. Won't bother me as I'm not renewing my SC and a few other City supporters I know aren't either.
