Why would I ban you?

I am just furious at the passive response from many "supporters" of scab clubs to their owners. You should call them out for what they are. Not one of them have apologised to anyone other than their own fans for being found out.

Paul Hawksbee did earlier in the week. Kudos to him.

Spurs fans protested outside the stadium. There are plenty of videos doing the rounds. A decent turnout at short notice.

Chelsea fans also protested outside Stamford Bridge.

Plenty of supporters of the clubs involved made their feelings know. Our Supporters Trust was at the forefront of the alliance formed to voice their displeasure at the idea of an ESL.

You are a mod on here. Feel free to ban me or delete my account because I made Levy want to join the ESL.
Over 90% of Spurs fans were against the ESL. Not sure why we should.be punished because our billionaire owner wanted even more money.
Why would you be punished?

Presumably, you wouldn't stop supporting Spurs if you were relegated. It hurts your brand, not the fans.

Can't see any logic in that. So if Moshiri had applied to join, that means we would all be tainted.
Yes. Exactly that.

This blame the owner thing is rubbish. This whole episode is a reflection of the entitlement that has been there for a generation. Spurs are a classic example of this. They’ve won 2 league cups since we last won a trophy. That’s it. During our most barren spell in our existence they’ve still only won 2 league cups more than us

They’ve only won 2 leagues in their entire existence.

yet, because they’ve finished in the champions league positions a few times they are lauded as a top club? Get. To. [Poor language removed].

I’m not going to pander to it anymore. The ESL was just going to make an existing issue worse, not create a new one.

They’ve destroyed footy, all of them. The FA, PL, UEFA, Sky, and these so called ‘top’ clubs.

And now the fans are playing the victim or trying to make out they are heroes for ‘standing up’. Scabs. All of them.

Part 3 is self defeating.
If you expel them you are effectively doing their job for them as that is what they would want if they are joining another league anyway.

Better to put a penalty of say £ 500 mil if you leave without the written permission of all the remaining member clubs.

If they keep trying to breakaway then we should just let them do it eventually. Why pander to these clubs, football would recover and move on without them. If they are totally adamant they want to leave then they will find a way to do it.

Destroyed footy.

Please.

Are the Premier League going to punish their cash cows of ManU, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal? I think they are likely to take a pragmatic approach.

Why not?

They probably can’t and certainly won’t relegate them and as others have said, a monetary fine is pointless.

A points deduction of ten or twenty points is the only thing that will hurt them and ensure that this scenario doesn’t crop up again in two years time.

Which it inevitably will.
