Where do I sign up?They all meet once a week, on Friday evenings, at the 12th Widnes Scout Group Hall, fill the place full of joss stick smoke, put a bit of Hakwind on, brew and urn of mushroom tea and pretend that they`re at Woodstock.
The only difference, being that, the participants aren`t young hippies, but fat Widnesians, covered in Widnes Rugby League Tattoos and scabby, diabetes ankles.
I'm liking this new slightly crazy version of FB.
Is that like the CA section of this site on Munsnet or similar?
I would like to know what exactly is wrong about what has been said (apart from the ridiculously childish name calling that goes on)
Benitez was absolutely dreadful, nobody knows where we would be if he were still here or had longer. We can heavily assume that it would have been very difficult to get out of the run we were on but we just don't know, it is all about opinions as he was rightly sacked.
Lampard, at the moment has a lot to prove, and we are very short of options in attack. We look stronger in defence without being near perfect, in the Leicester game especially there were a few panicked moments.
I would never apologise for not liking Benitez and believing that he was truly taking us down, I am also not going to apologise for being more positive about Lampard. For me he has earned another transfer window, just for his attitude. We are not creating enough chances but we are creating some good chances, there needs to be a more clinical edge to us. If we can get that edge over the break and into January then I see us being fine, but I am wary that we will not find that and we will be in trouble once again. It is a tight league, in the lower half, and a couple of wins would make the picture a lot brighter.
I don't believe we are far off, football is about margins and if the attitude is right with the players, which seems to be the case then, as mentioned, we just need to find that clinical edge to be a lot safer.
I think there's a third group of Martinez inevitabilists. They're less hawkish, more resigned to Brown Shoes making a return post WC.
Can’t we go with the old Martinez classics
The cult v Plotters
When he was sacked it was the right time, but the problem was we had fans against him from day one. Also look where we are now, Rafael was doing a better job then Frank currently is but Frank gets a pass for no reason.
Thing is across the whole pitch he has more options, look at Saturday, 5 perfectly viable subs, last season Rafael had games with a half full bench including youngsters nobody had ever heard of.
One if the reasons for this was the useless owner gave him 1.8m to spend, how is a manager supposed to work with that.
He might of but don't forget it was Frank that really got us in danger, it was Frank who put us having to win against Palace
Attitudes don't put points on the board
Problem is other clubs look far more likely to pick up those wins
Agree on the margins, we need to turn draws into wins
I hope it's not a celibate form of spirituality otherwise your head will explode! Some will never have the good character to hold their hands up and admit they were wrong.
A few month back I joined a spiritual forum and any rare instances of aggro are shot down and said troublemakers encouraged to apologise for the good of the community. Its a shame you dont see it happen more between fellow Blues.

Let be straight, if Rafael had stayed the fans would of made certain we went down, or rather they wouldnt of got behind the team in the same way, and it was that support who got them over the line, that was the real problem, for that reason alone he had to goMostly fair points made, some people on here go on like we are talking facts and being wrong or right. When it comes to the question 'if Benitez stayed', there is no right or wrong.
My opinion is that we would not have been much different and maybe worse, if it was Benitez at the end and not Lampard.
I disagree about attitude. I think the attitude of players can go a very long way to getting points. Players that would throw themselves in front of a ball, go in for that strong challenge can easily win you points. It is obviously not the be all and end all, but we talk about players 'downing tools' and that definitely has an effect on fans and the ability to graft for a much needed point or 3.
The entire post is a bit gerbil, so I saved time and just fixed some of the grammar.Let's be straight, if Rafael had stayed the fans wouldofhave made certain we went down, or rather they wouldn'tofhave got behind the team in the same way, and it was that supportwhoTHAT got them over the line, that was the real problem, for that reason alone he had to go
