Are the Benitez 8 owed an apology?

Were the Benitez 8 Right?

The entire post is a bit gerbil, so I saved time and just fixed some of the grammar.

I find it odd that someone, presumably with a straight face, could claim that the FANS were taking the club down and Benitez was not to blame.
Fans last season vandalised Goodison, turned up near his house and this was before the season even started, it was a disgrace, we then had some who were openly gutted when we got off to a good start. Goodison was even vandalised more then once, as a fan base a small eliment really did shame us. We had them walking out at the Arsenal game, abusing players, you get the club you deserve, and ours is rotten.
The fact we are in a bigger mess NOW shows it wasnt the fault of Rafael

But we aren't in a bigger mess now?

Chico hack your account, mate? Your pot-stirring score this week is way outside historical norms.

I'll admit that I bailed on Benitez relatively late. I think it was late in December before we were so abject that I concluded the man had no clue. You could vault me if you wanted the exact date.

That lot continues to defend FSW. If they wanted forgiveness, they would have to own it and renounce him. I think they're entitled to their opinion, and I don't get bothered by it the way so many of you seem to. It's not like my position of 'just be solid at the back and comfortably up, with an eye to the next two seasons' is popular around here.

Well apart from the fact we are, if you don't think we are in a relegation fight now you are kidding yourself.
Season after season under moshiri we are going backwards.

At this point last season we had 1 more point than we do now and had gone out in the cup to QPR.

Did you think we were in a mess and relegation fight then? And if the answer is yes, why do you want this manager sacked but not the last?

No, it just wasn't very good, the idea of changing is supposed to be for the better.

That QPR result was a killer at the time, but not compared to last night which was inexcusable

So what between last season and this season is making you not have the same opinion on what we should do with the manager?
The threat of relegation now is much bigger then it was this stage of last season.
One factor is the other clubs, we have stronger competition now.
But another issue is our expectation for this season should be higher then last season, and with having a deeper squad, and some more investment this summer then last, this run is unacceptable.

Look at it the other way, last November some fans ridiculously wanted the manger sacked, but for no logical reason those same fans don't want the current under performing manager sacked, makes no sense.

So you think it was ridiculous some wanted the manager sacked last November but it's now ridiculous to not want the manager sacked this November? Despite being only 1 points worse off, conceding far less goals and out to a PL team in the cup not a Championship team this time.

Okay then.
