I'll be happy to be seen as Roma's feeder club as long as our losses next season are in single figures.

Football clubs don't have identities to lose.

Some clubs are successful, some have money, some win sweet FA, some have always been lower league, some get documentaries. But the one thing they all have in common.... they're all just football clubs with players and supporters.

The identity is just a fictional thing.

What about the fabric?

Mate, go in the Everton forum, pick any thread, read a few posts then get back to me.

The alehouse is where the normal amongst us hide from those lunatics.
I used to split my time evenly between the two, with a little leftover in current affairs (I've since kicked that habit)

I always avoid the transfer thread, utterly pointless...and I'll dip into a few threads here and there unless it's obviously getting derailed, usually by the same fella.

You're right, it's better here.

I was interested to read this from forum stalwart @davek in the DCL thread (go figure)

"IMO the threat to our identity needed to be hammered home and I think sustained that, as most people accept that the threat is real and we need to be aware of it and counter it."

Re: the bold bit, are you most people?

(@mods I really wanted to put this in main Everton forum but thought better of it. Feel free to move it there for greater visibility, maybe that's where 'most people' hang out)
The way you framed the question was massively skewed.

It should read:

"Does Multi-club football ownership present a threat to club identity?"
