I haven't seen a great deal of him, but what I have seen I'm not that impressed, didn't do a great deal against us at home last season so its like a shrug of the shoulders from me.

One of those players that someone, somewhere created a bit of hype over and no-one has any idea why, but it stuck, and no amount of disappointing seasons washes it off. We will not unlock anything lashing goal kicks at him.

I still feel there is a player in there somewhere and I don't think the knee injury necessarily kills his career as I see him as more of a power/technical striker vs. one that relies solely on pace. That said, I think the risk is high with Broja and do not see any way we would pay a transfer fee or wages for that matter that the parties would deem sufficient. I don't expect to see him at Goodison/BMD except on the opposing side.

The continual Broja links always seem like recycled nonsense. Am I wrong that it started when Lampard was here, and it was suggested Frank had some special liking for him, or was in a position to bring him in on loan at least at a time when we were without a striker? I always thought it was his agent trying to generate a buzz and there was never anything to it.

I thought he looked very good a couple of years ago but he's lost his way since then I wouldn't mind him as a signing at all myself but not for the fees that have been mentioned.

I think he had a good season with Southampton, a few years ago? But has injuries since then.

Didn't look much in the Euros, but he wasn't getting much service. Will be the same for us.
