2024/25 Armando Broja

Which 1 do you think Eggs?

The International player who has played regular PL football
Or
The young lad with a handful of first teams appearances under his belt

….if Chermiti is really impressing Moyes in training and there’s little chance of Broja being here next season then I’d think there’s a chance he’ll go with the young man, especially as he’s been back in training longer.

It’s about who’s the best option and Chermiti needs to be forcing his way into contention.

Be utterly stunned if Chermo makes it here.

Should be playing games, but instead hes either injured or sitting on the bench.

He improved last season and his start late on was impressive, was doing alright in pre season then a horrible time for a young player to get injured. He's got to start all over again with a gaffer who has never seen him but let's get behind the boy
It just annoys me that we dont give these players game time then wonder why they end in League Two.

Why do you think that?

I think most would agree Broja has a bit about him, just massive question marks on him overcoming his injury issues.

Wouldn't be the first player who picks up constant injuries in his early 20s then settles into his body and routine a bit better
It would't surprise me if we try to extend the loan another year to see if he can overcome them, especially knowing Moyes has tried for him before. It would be crazy to spend any serious money on him, although the fact other clubs will feel the same may make Chelsea amenable to another loan.

He’s only 23. Far too early to be consigning to the dustbin.

Agreed but you absolutely can’t ignore this. That history is bad for a 30 yearold

This lad, DCL and the like need to be shown this picture of Ted Drake, the old Arsenal forward. Carried off the pitch unconscious, brought around, put back onto the pitch and scored a hat-trick. Obviously this was an extreme case and I would not condone anybody knocked out being allowed back on, but so many of players stay out of the game with ‘niggles’ or ‘twinges’. None of us mere mortals would be able to cry off work because we had a niggling injury.
