I know it’s hard to judge as we were winning 4-0 but his ball control and strength on the ball looked impressive. He was unlucky not to score and put a couple of chances on a plate for Harrison. Why I kicked was he looked self assured almost arrogant and I think that’s a good sign in a striker. Hopefully this can rub off on the team if he earns a starting spot.

Yeah he looked good but I won’t be putting up the bunting yet. His injury record is wild.

It reminds me when people on here were claiming after 2 games that Ben Godfrey was future England captain material!

I then just checked is current situation - has played 2minutes for Atalanta this season.

Am not saying Borja will flop just the mad hype after 5 touches.

Still think he gets the winner/equaliser on Sunday after coming on as a sub though

I have been waiting for him to play since we signed him, we need options desperately.

Exact same here, always thought he looked too timid. But saw some nice touches and runs with the ball into the box yesterday. It would never happen because Doucoure has Dyche’s nudes, but it could be interesting to see how he plays off Dom in the role Doucoure is allegedly meant to.
