Pretty sure we did it to Palace with Cahill. Think they had him pretty much buttoned up (maybe not quite to the point of having taken photos of him in the kit, but not far off)

We ARE horrifically badly run, but from the sounds of things, this might not be an example of that. Sounds like the player and/or his agent have just acted in a massively scummy/disingenuous/dishonourable way.

This really doesn't make sense to be honest, I get that the Agent needs to send in their own form to confirm everything with the FA, but surely they've signed contracts and such agreeing to the move with the club that should be legally binding ? Otherwise what's the point if an agent can just say nah, can't be arsed sending my form through yolo

He wouldn't have signed anything contractual, clearly.

Clubs do media before that is done all the time.

Liverpool famously did it with Fekir, and then he failed his medical.
