I can't see Dyche not letting him know that he needs to consider passing to a team mate. He'll either learn to make bettter choices or he'll be back in the reserves

Even though he hit the bar and forced the keeper into his best save of the game. The one the keeper made the save from, I think I spurs defender was blocking off the pass to Beto. It’s nice to see one of our attackers capable of going past someone and getting a shot off. McNeil had a decent game but him and Harrison are slow and lose every foot race when you think they’re through

Was still dangerous though. Would rather have him over anyone else if chasing a game. I said earlier that he found space but should have said he exploited space. He caused problems albeit selfish but still caused problems. That in itself is worth game time when searching for a goal
I get that, but I really do think hes just faux-dangerous. He looks dangerous for a bit, but in the end if you have a 0% chance of scoring once he touches the ball is it really dangerous? The reason we like dangerous, and a player that causes problems is because of the hope that SOME of that will lead to a goal. If thats the case in the end you would be better left with someone less "dangerous" who has more actual end product every now and then.

That photo on MOTD 0f his shot hitting the bar & coming down just inside the goal line it deflected off their keeper & he looked well behind the line - anyone got a replay freeze please ? As I think when it hit their keeper he was a good way back off his line ?

Do we have enough sample size to decide that and who are we comparing him to?

It was shown on American TV Joey that the ball was around 85% over the line but not fully.

Really unlucky as 9 times out of ten that would have deflected off the keeper and gone in.

Merry Christmas anyway mate 👍

For me it should be a matter of the majority of the ball being over the line for a goal or going out of play.

I reckon Hawkeye was occluded by the keeper.

I saw the graphic, but for all the world it looked over the line from that replay from behind the goal.

I’d be very interested to know how many cameras saw the ball at that moment in order to model its position. There’s no way Hawkeye was firing on all cylinders.

But I’m not going to lose sleep over it. Hawkeye is bias proof, it doesn’t see club badges and it’s just one of those things.

tbf once I seen the replay the first time and I think they'd even flagged for offside and then play had continued i said to my lad "even if that goal had gone in, theyev gone that far past that moment now that they'd make out ot wasn't a goal somehow".

Conspiracy hat on? Yes I have.

But I don't trust the corrupt, incompetent, vindictive bellends with getting a throw in decision right, let alone anything else
