1st half he did what Gordon used to do when actually playing well, receive the ball and immediately face the box/goal and start dribbling at the full back. Every time, especially the first 20mins. We win corners, deep throw ins. Pretty rare for them to nick it off you and immediately go on a mad break. Kept us nicely on top and miles away from our goal.

Would say that he got to the goal line with a yard on the defender plenty times and never really picked the right ball. Partly wrong choices from him, but the other players had no clue where to stand/run anticipating his cross, like it was a novelty a wide player beating his man at pace. No one wrestling to get a run in front of their man, not really anyone halting their run in space so he could roll it back. Just stood next to their markers hoping he’d cut onto his right and score himself.

Would love to know whether he actually wants to stay, or even likes it here. Crowd has been polite and patient. Bet he wishes he could bag a few and get some love. Beto gets plenty and he hasn’t done that much of note.

Spot on mate. He’s the whopper boxing promoter and Joshua’s manager - just been talking up how great Joshua is and getting stuck into Froch before practically saying Danjuma off - the fellas a blert.

Get someone in who Dyche wants and it’s fine. Dobbin has gone ahead of Danjuma in the pecking order - move him on.

But we probably needed another winger anyway, especially if McNeil is out a while, letting Danjuma go means we ideally need two and doesn’t save us enough money to do anything meaningful. It makes no sense to me.
