He was hardly a crock before he came to everton, he had injuries but not more than what a average player has.

He had a recurring knee problem that blew up on us a few weeks into his Everton career, if he's not a crock I really don't understand what is?

I think he had a few at United, but the difference is before last season he did play very well, if he is now crocked well we are not a benevolent society so get rid of him too!

i don't disagree, i'd get rid of both Kone, gibson etc.

I'm not saying his time at everton has been successful at all, i just don't think anichebe was any better.

Why the reported worst ever no 9 in our history( scored more than Kone} - two seasons, and he is a proven crock ok!
Look if this season his knees heal up at the age of 31 and he bangs goals in for fun then you win the argument ok!

I'm not saying Kone is going to do well this season but I think people who are in any way judging him based on yesterday's performance need to bare in mind that:
It was his first playing time for months.
He's currently starving himself and has been all of the last week during what is renowned to be quite an exhausting first week of training.

Or put it another way when as he ever been fit to play? no sustained run rare substitute appearances, left out of a game because the pitch may hurt his knees its a woeful signing, but why not replace him?

I do think if we played with Victor now, he would be more fruitful than Kone. Different players. Think Victor could suit our style.

Think he'd get service more suited to his game now.
