Arouna Kone

This lad is [Poor language removed] ! Another example of robertoos stubborn streak. Naisy is way better option to start . He does not even look like scoring a goal , poor touch and nothing going for him ... Get rid quick !

Perhaps, but I think he tries, at least. Straqualersi was better though, and if big old Denis is better than you, let's face it, it's all hopeless.

If you change "this century" to "since 1990", I think we've had worse, but then only because we had Brett Angel and Ibrahima Bakayoko. At least Daniel Amokachi actively played a part in a trophy win.

‘Baka-joke-o’ or "Back O the Echo" was as bad as Kone but he did score 4 times in the league (7 times in all competitions)
Don't know how we got 4m when we sold him

Kone was a decent player tbh, when you are his age and miss well over a year of football, then obviously it affects you. The Yak was never the same after his Achilles injury.
Was an unlucky signing rather than a bad one IMO.

I can't stand him. He's useless. Play pienaar left an kev or naisy up top if Lukaku isn't playing. Just get rid of Kone!! 0 talent would struggle in league 2 playing for tranmere

I have repeatedly heard Cleverly as well, but despite being in the states I have heard nothing of Altidore.

Altidore though will not give us much more than Kone IMO if we do bring him in. His touch is worse even if his finishing is slightly better.

In my mind Cleverly is just a replacement for Mirallas, which is fine, the team will need a back up under-performing prima donna who doesn't really have a position in Martinez's system once Kev is sent to Spurs.

Dann seems as good a prospect to back up Jags and Stones as any.

Yep. He's as bad as it gets as far as I'm concerned and brings nothing to the side. Be lucky to get 2M for him but I woukd take that in a heartbeat and move on and pretend he was just a bad dream and we never really signed him.

If your talking about @Moomin post about Altidore he's joking mate. Plus he's as bad a striker as your ever likely to see. He's serious about Scott Dann though plus I wouldn't be surprised if he still has his finger on the pulse regarding George Boyd

He will 100% be at Everton come start of next season.
1. Nobody will want him
2. Martinez won't turn his back on him. He brought him here another love child of his. New contract with Alcaraz wouldn't surprise me but will make me sick!

I've no doubt he will still be here next season mate. I think Alcaraz will be shown the door though, better had be shown the bloody door anyway lol

I think he looks good moving forward with the ball sometimes, but nothing ever comes of it. He looked good at Wigan, so he
can play.
I won't be fussed if he is moved on, but I wouldn't be surprised if he starts scoring again, somewhere, if not here.
