Started two games up front for Everton (his best position) and scored both times.

100% strike rate, what's the problem boys.
If Lukaku got injured would you be happy for him to step in?

He's dog [Poor language removed],that's my problem with him and that smile on his face is because he knows it and is getting paid massive money for being it

Poor today and has had a bunch of poor games but so ott some go with the stick, he's had a fair few good games or contributed positively. At the end of the day for a back up striker playing left wing 6-7 goals and a handful of assists isn't that shabby

Warning Kone
Having scored to put Everton on their way against Dagenham & Redbridge in the previous round, Kone again took centre stage for his side up front with Romelu Lukaku enjoying a well-earned breather.

So with Roberto Martinez in the market for another attacking outlet who can operate both through the middle and down the channels, the Ivorian's early tap-in goal was a timely reminder of what he offers.

Like so many others at Goodison, it's been an up-and-down season for Kone but given the tough times he experienced in his first two years with the Blues it's been a huge improvement just to be making a significant contribution at all.

After suffering a serious injury and enduring a wretched run in front of goal, lesser individuals could have thrown in the towel at such a stage of their career but to his credit, the former Wigan Athletic man has turned things around.

Often asked to play down the left and help out tracking back to aid his full-back might not come too naturally for Kone but he's always tried to pitch in, to varying degrees of success.

After suffering a dip in form of late, this was an encouraging show of forward play.

Think our friend Chris Beesley should probably write off [kapow] his chances of a Pulitzer for the next, well, two decades at least

Lazy most of the time. He did get into the six yard box for his goal. I hope our subs were watching how that was done especially the one I was frustrated with last week.
