Where on earth has he gone?

Absolutely nowhere. He hit the jackpot when he signed for us and he bloody knew it.

It was a very, very questionable signing at the time and it has proven over time to be an unmitigated disaster. Factor in wages (guessing 40k p/w) and we've probably lost between £12m and £14m on this absolute waster... no chance of getting him off the payroll either, he'll be here until the day his contract expires.

It went under the radar a little bit a couple of months ago but Koeman mentioned during a press conference that every couple of days of training he done he was breaking down and couldn't sustain a period of training.

Basically his leg was only attached by cellotape

Just as if it wasn't bad enough that he signed Kone here for three years in the first place, he goes and compounds the stupidity by giving the lad a twelve mouth contract extension after he has a single good game! Thank the Lord that this no-mark will finally be gone at the end of the season.

True!, I don't think anybody, other than the brown shoed one would be that daft, This is the drawback really, shame we have to keep paying him to hobble into training occasionally and then Toni and guy to get his blond bits touched up!
