Somerset Blue
Player Valuation: £8m
Average Championship wage is £6-7K, so he could be on 12.Absolutely no way is he on 12k !!!!!!!!
That's lower end Championship wages.

Are you talking about his ability or his wage with reference to lower end of the championship?Absolutely no way is he on 12k !!!!!!!!

asif he is on 12k, he's on abar 40k
He is not, at all on £40k a week.
His wage reduces year on year, like many older players that sign. But that's not cool to believe!!
He is now on £12k a week, after starting on £25k a week when he signed.
lollollol
No mate.
Player contracts dont ever go down, no matter how old they get.
lol, yes they do.
Interesting thought but it's the first time I've seen this in all the time I've followed football.
What makes you think that this is the case/actually true in Kone's case?
If he was on £12k a week and we wanted to shift him, there's plenty of teams who would go for him at Championship level which hasn't yet happened.
Just look it up, loads of salary sites, net worth etc available.
His wage in 2016 was £600k, 2015 was £1.1 million.
Now he has not signed a new contract in that time.

Those salary websites are far from reliable though. I remember them saying Tim Howard was on 10k pw for us lollol
This 1 seems the best I can find.
I mean some are questionable, but most seem decent shouts.

More realistic for sure. I can't imagine a player agreeing to a contract where the wage reduces each year?
Hes all over the place, he said a page or 2 ago that we tripled Kones 3k a week wage when he first signed, then said he went from 25k to 12k.
The fellas a mess.
Most players over a certain age will no doubt be offered a reduced wage when they sign a new contract, like Barry for example, he would be lucky if he kept the same wages, but wouldnt imagine it would be a massive decrease if at all.
On signing a new deal for sure you would expect the likes of Barry to take a lesser deal, but for it to decrease year on year as part of the contract is a strange one.
