I'm not on WiFi I'm on 4g and I'm at a holding cell at ko samui court house. Everyone has their phone although I cant vouch for how many are on GOT.

If people don't believe me that's fine, just don't post on here because I am trying to stay positive. Believe me I wish this wasn't real.

Fair enough mate. As I said before, best of luck to you and as scary as the situation is now, I'm sure it'll get sorted out OK. Hopefully you get the support you need around you very soon.
 
Mate, you must be feeling terrible right now. Checkpoints are one of the reasons I hate to travel - this includes check-ins at airports in the UK even! So many opportunities to be stitched up.

It's circumstantial evidence - if a person in front of you in a queue had bailed the drugs onto the floor. As has been said do not admit guilt.

Fingers crossed for you buddy. Of course, being GOT it has to be said.... Have you tried claiming it was just sawdust?
 

I got bail, getting processed at 1630 local time.

They have to send the drug away for testing which takes 20 days, I have to appear at the courthouse every 12 days while the investigation continues. Could take 2-3 months apparently.

My lawyer said if I plead innocent it could take a long time and face maximum penalty if found guilty.
If I plead guilty then sentence is reduced and then go to mitigation for a further reduction based on my clean record and character references and my profession and charity work.

My life has just been ripped apart in days. Pretty tough to take this.

Another thought occurs - another angle - if the package had simply been bailed out of someone else's pocket, surely there is no evidence, eg fingerprints on the oackage that are yours.

no fingerprints and they didn't test me but I am clean anyway. The soldiers said that it was under my feet so I was hiding it. That's the statement they gave to police.

Absolutely gutted for you to be in this sutuation, but at least you're out. Innocent people should never plead guilty, stay strong. Authorities will try every trick in the book to make examples of people to be a deterrent, and to clean their streets.

Now you're out you can get broader advice. I'd be heading straight to the embassy if I were you.

When they test it, they cannot find evidence to suggest you've ever held it. The fact you were standing on it is circumstantial. Who looks where theyre treading while stood in a queue?

Mores the point - seek advuce about if it's worth getting a blood test, to show if you've ever had traces of the drug in your system. Evidence!

I've been in ko phangan jail for past few days and now ko samui court trying to post bail.

I don't know if anyone can help or advise in any way but I'm really scared and I don't know what to do.
I'm innocent but they said 2 years to fight case or plead guilty and maybe go home quicker but also likely jail too.

I have a lawyer but if anyone has connections over here or even as support please let me know.

I've had a little look at your Facebook page mate and I have to say you deserve to be banged up for having a sleeve tattoo. If execution was an option I'd be pushing for that.

In all seriousness though good luck with it all, sounds a bit of a nightmare.
