@edge this is a possibility more likely a probability. The set piece kings of the PL against each other. Did you see what Monaco did against them at corners? Monaco left 3 players upfield so Arsenal had to leave more players back and it upset Arsenals set piece plans
I hate the way we don’t leave at least one player up - automatically takes two opposition players out of the game

If there is one thing I hate about being an Everton fan in particular and our predicament in general it is fixtures like this one.

I have no anticipation or enthusiasm for games like this. None. Just going to make up the numbers and hoping we don't take a real hiding and be humiliated too much.

Our record at these grounds and against clubs like Arsenal is just a disgrace, an embarrassment, shameful, and pathetic, even allowing for where we've been and where we are.

It's gone beyond even statistical probability now and law of averages where you expect, in a blue moon, some freakish set of circumstances combine and we get a win. I don't believe a single member of the coaching or playing staff will go to Arsenal on Saturday and think we can win the game. We get a fair share of heroic draws and that's our lot.

If I had a minute with Dan Friedkin then this is what I'd tell him. This is what he has to understand if we are to ever change.
That's Kenwright's legacy, always playing it safe and making sure Everton didn't go above our station.

Moshiri has a abundance of flaws, but at least he took risks to try and improve us and actually put money in attempt to move us forward. So for me Moshiri will always be above Kenwright in our history.

Another game where we’re we won’t bother turning up. Hopefully Arsenal don’t score early or this could be a capitulation. Fingers crossed it is the last game under Moshiri’s ownership and the start of the recovery process. First move is to thank Sean Dyche for all his hard work and to part ways as the vision the new owners have for the club doesn’t align with that of Mr Dyche.

Kenwright has never had any money but to his credit he made the right choices in managers i.e Moyes. Moshiri had money but spent it like he was Richard Pryor in Brewster's millions and generally made every mistake you possible could as chairman and actually took us backwards. Will give him credit for the stadium but other than that he has been a shambles and not matter how much you did not like Kenwright you can not say Moshiri is above anyone in our history. Christ, Mike Walker was probably least destructive......

You say that Moshiri doesn't choose the right managers, many of them have fell upwards. Silva is doing well at Fulham, Koeman has managed Netherlands and Barca, Carlo Madrid. Only made two poor appointments.

I still think Kenwright held us back under Moyes, so many times we had opportunities to push on and get in Champions League consistently and he didn't give Moyes the funds he needed.

Must admit.

I've stopped watching Everton away at Arsenal.

I know, I know.

But it's the biggest write off/waste of time of the year.

It's the only game I avoid.

I'll honestly just keep occasional glance on flashscore tomorrow.

Bad fan me but be arsed depressing myself on a festive weekend.
Fair play. Could be a mauling.
