I’m just having a pint after leaving the Emirates and enjoying an unexpected point from the game.

My observations from my vantage point in Block 22-:

Pickford was my MOM due to the saves he made but his overall calmness when we were in under pressure…good to see more positivity regarding collecting the ball or going and punching danger away.
Young played well but Branthwaite was a bit shaky at times and gave the ball away leading to dangerous situations…Tarkowski more solid than he has been and good to see him getting in the ear of the ref who was diabolical.

Finally, can someone kidnap Jack Harrison and drive him to Leeds and dump him in the Elland Road car park and even pay a reverse ransom to Leeds so he does not come back. There was a moment in the second half that was the epitome of a “Jackism” when he controlled a cross field pass and beat his marker in one touch, leaving him to play a pass to DCL who had started to make a really good run that would have given him a good shooting chance…Jack played the pass to the space that DCL had vacated behind him. He was hooked off pretty quickly after that.
Jeez, he's frustrating isn't he. I remember that incident and Dom was pointing to where the ball should be played as he started his run.

Get the feeling Dom could have Chris Wood's numbers if he was in that Forest team and Vice versa. He's never going to be a Salah type of forward that can make something on his own. Nor will he ever be as prolific as Haaland even with great service. He can be an effective striker in a different set up though.

Good point obviously. Pickford man of the match but Myko, Gana and Mangala all played well. N'Diaye puts a shift in even when he's not at his best.

Arsenal are struggling to score from open play so if we can avoid giving silly free kicks and corners away there's a small chance of a 0-0. 2-0 is a more realistic prediction
Didn't see the game but looking at the highlights we did avoid giving away silly free kicks. Now if we can only do the same at Mordor later in the season and return the favour to Arsenal.

Eye bleeding stuff but a great unexpected point in the end, so credit goes to the players for working their jacksies off and helping each other out and to Dyche and his management team.

This Arsenal team won’t win the league, not ruthless enough.

We need more unexpected points over the festive games to make up for those we’ve chucked away previously, so more please Everton, keep pushing forward.

Travelling toffees great again btw.

I dunno, he kept Saka relatively quiet
This. I suppose that, technically speaking he did struggle. In the sense that playing against Saka is always a struggle and nobody keeps him quiet- He's a nightmare to play against and there's a reason the lad's into double figures for goals and assists every season. Mykolenko limited him
Best game for a while from Myko.

The most impressive part of today's point is the way the full squad have bought into it playing so defensively.

Lindstorm did pretty well (better than I expected anyway) defensively.. if they can keep that level of togetherness we ll be fine I think.
Absolutely, it was an excellent defensive display. A point was more than I was expecting. Those complaining we had no attacking intent need to think about what attacking intent would have resulted in. Eg these players would have most certainly been taken apart.
I think we now have a good defensive solidity and just need to build on that in a more attacking sense without getting taken apart.
Now isn't the time for attractive football, it's about survival, moving into a new stadium, new ownership and stability.

Ffs sake, never satisfied. You'd have easily taken that point before the game.
Very happy to have taken a point, but the approach to the game was terrible. You can go into a game well set up to defend but most teams that go there will have some sort of a plan to catch them on the counter, maybe nick a goal, but not us. We were a great performance from the keeper from getting a hammering like we got from Chelsea last season. And we have n`t seen a good performance since Ipswich, plenty to not be satisfied with and not going to ignore that cause Arsenal didn`t bring their shooting boots yesterday.
