Mori has only played a few games this season, so it's hard to judge long term, but for me he is the best centre half to have played for Everton this season.

Arsenal will challenge for the Title this season, yet we still carved out enough chances to get at least a point IMO.

It wasnt happening for Lennon yesterday and Ross struggled for space, if Ross was more on his game and we played Mirallas instead of Lennon, coupled with giving Rom more support things might have gone differently.

But yeah, if my Uncle was my Auntie and all dat.

2 wingers should give the team a more attacking shape, but I personally think we should maybe tweak the formation a little.

Coco/Robles
Coleman - Yags - Stones - Baines
McCarthy
Besic - Barks
Superkev ---------- Diver
Big stuff

I agree, and in time I think that will be the system, though personally Cleverley is more suited to that role than Besic - whose more effective deeper I think.

Something needs to change. Other managers don't have to do any research about us. It has been the same formation now for three seasons on the run, it isn't working!

I don't think the formation is the problem, it's the tempo that we play at. We were extremely slow the other day, but the 3 chances (and goal) we got came from quick play.

Sometimes we have to be patient, and there's nothing wrong with slow/patient build up in the defence/midfield, as long as we then speed it up in the final third.

Too often we get it out wide and come back inside, or there is nobody in the box to get on the end of a cross.

Very happy with this win, you guys are never easy opponents and this was no different, especially considering our midweek exertions against Bayern.

You guys gained a bit of a foothold towards the end of the match as our legs started going, and had two very good chances but in all honesty, the game should have been wrapped up by ourselves before that point.

Something I've noticed about you guys is that players in your attacking line are not technically proficient enough to deal with condensed spaces of play. A case in point is Lukaku whose first touch is wildly inconsistent, Naismith can also be included in that category. Martinez seemed to try and address this by going around the problem and trying to send in diagonal balls to Lukaku but it did very little to amend the situation.

You guys have great runners on the ball, guys who are at their most effective when they have the space to turn and run and you are currently being prevented from doing this through the condensing of space.

You can see teams targeting this, I saw United last week absolutely suffocate you guys in that space which led to you guys not being give a sniff on goal.

I'm relatively impressed with Galloway, do you guys think his future lies in the CB positions?
