"It pertinently must be noted that as time passes Wenger is resembling a gherkin left out in the mid day Mexican sun." LOL

Can't see us getting anything here alas.

Bravo Chico! You've picked me up after a rather gloomy week of pure guff-ball.
3-2 to sexual width of our Royal Blue flanks!

Embarrassed to say that I read it and that it was boss, you weapon. My Cubs just went full Wigan on me, so anything that happens this weekend will be positive in comparison. Still, it was a great season. This Everton project has hardly begun this one here.

Who expected Everton to tonk Chelsea, after all? If I had a time machine, I'd go back and pick up all the action I could against a Naismith hat trick. One thing, if Everton win all the talk will be about Arsenal when it's done.

Just once this year I want to see us play both Deulofeu and Mirallas at the same time. This might not be the right game for it, and you can almost guarantee if we play anyone in the top 6 from last year then Naismith is deffo starting.

Start the team that played against Soton, I think.

Howard
Coleman Stones Jagielka Galloway
McCarthy Barry Cleverley
Barkley Lukaku Kone

The three up top were tucked in and interchanging.

We must survive the first 20mins, exactly what Utd didnt.

I would swap Del for Cleverley, Del had a great game last year in this fixture and we need as much pace upfront as possible as we will be playing on the counter all game. I don't think Cleverley is ready to start yet either, I might be worng

Nice read, suited the tone.

I got the chance to go and turned it down, so we will undoubtably have a fantastic win. 3-2 to Everton, late Kone winner. Coyb

Their tactics at home will suit us just fine... If we can ever get the ball that is. The Kone to start and do the same job as we did on
Southampton.

But yeah dese have been looking a bit special in their last few games.

Thanks for the write up Chico. This week has been pretty tough emotionally for us Evertonians, especially the ones who had direct experience with Howard's past I suspect. I liked thhe quote about your last thoughts and I must say that together wih my family memories those few years in the mid-eighties will be with me till the end.

I hope the team is up for this, COYB!!!
