This is Moyesesque utter garbage brand of football. If this is what the philosophy is then we need to be worried.

No throughballs, no wing play no passing. Just a bunch of talented footballers going about needing luck to score.

Be fair, he's been great at LB since Baines has been out.
Im sorry, but thats not wholly true. He's been very solid at the back but he is lacking pretty significantly at going forward. Because he's ACTUALLY a CB. And there within lies the crux. Martinez's whole system is predicated on having his fullbacks bomb on and his TWO DM's try to help them out if they lose possession, so if one of the FB's are pretty lackluster at bombing on, why does he not change his system?

Its that final decision in very good positions we just don't have, hopefully it will improve with age and experience, not going to be to downbeat I thought we have played very well against a very good team.

I agree with this.

Should have got something, but some shocking defending and sloppy final balls and finishes cost us.

Make no mistake Arse are a top team and we almost matched them today.

Unlucks blues.

we don't have enough cool heads in attack if we're being honest. comes with the youthfullness of it all i suppose. then again our most experienced players are barry and howard and they make more bad decisions than most.

Mate they're all bang average and we just have bottling disgraceful managers

Our odds to beat Arsenal were 8/1. Not 60/1.

Sick of all the excuses for our narrow, "unlucky" defeats.

Our attitude in these games is that of a team who expects to lose. I thought we were supposed to play with no fear.

No points for losing, no matter how you manage it.
Keeper lads, we need somebody better and who will take control of the penalty box.
Tim certainly doesn't.

An OK performance in my eyes, let's not forget that Arsenal is currently very good. Think we gave them a fight, especially in the second half. Think everyone in the team did okay. Unlucky red card for Barry, played well throughout the game.

Shame we didn't turn up until the second half but oh well, at least the tough first 10 games are over.

Much nicer fixtures coming up (on paper at least...)
