We won, that's all that matters. Probs should have been a draw on balance, we deserved a goal 1st half, Arsenal did 2nd half.

Still though, always fancy us whenever we take the lead these days.

Yeah theyve been poor most of the season outwith the Europa, but they look like theyre building a decent young side. Kroenke wont give Arteta much money though so if they dont win Europa and miss out on CL they'll struggle to build on the squad while guys like Auba and Lacazette will be a year older.
Midtable again next year for them.

Yep, that is the good thing about carlo, he actually says it as the game looks to us, does not say we played well when we didnt, like some would etc.

Very glad we beat these. Not only because I don't like Arsenal but because we needed points and we needed to start closing our season. Europa seems very realistic at this point

I see the moans this morning from the Arsenal fans on social media is about the offside call which cost them a pen, you know instead of the fact Ceballos tried and almost succeeded to cheat his way to the pen in the first place

We got the rub of the green last night but we've had enough incidents go against us.

Going to end up with a brilliant away record from this season, which makes it all the more frustrating we've been so pitiful in so many home games.

On one hand we're getting rid of one mental block by winning at Anfield and Arsenal for the first time in far far too long, but in true Everton style we're almost building ourselves a new obstacle by dropping so many points in the 'easier' games. Feel like I'll never work this beautifully irritating club out.
