If offred I wouldnt take a drawn right now, we need to start wining games, regardless of how we have done there in the past and have played so far this season, if we draw on Sunday ill be very disapointed, a win is a must, Sam wrote this one off before we even went there last season, I hope Marko goes there with an attitude of going for the win but without being reckless about it. A draw and 2 points from the last 3 games wouldnt be good enough

Absolutely agree. Gana / Davies / Siggy. There really is not other option, Davies has to play. I'd be tempted to sit Walcott and play Bernard and Richy wide, play Tosun up front and switch Walcott in if it's not going well, although my guess is that Walcott starts and Bernard is off the bench.

Digne should ALWAYS play over Baines, simple as that.

Think our best bet is to go with Richarlison through the centre with Bernard and Walcott on the wings. Richarlison just offers more dynamism and you know that if he picks it up in a wide position on the counter he's gonna be direct with it and can produce something whereas Tosun doesn't have the pace or dribbling ability to do that.
 

With the opening fixtures, I was hoping we would have gained enough points to have had a possible free hit at this game, set up with full intent to win, make a statement etc.

Granted we've struggled, but still think we'll spring a surprise...
 
Not confident we rarely get anything at Arsenal , however unlike the West Ham game were we had it all to lose this one its expected we lose , also both teams are attacking side this maybe to our advantage ?

Starting point should be to solve not having Gana and Scneiderlin playing together in a 4-2-3-1.
The argument that we don't have anything better, that its the safest most reliable option, should be long gone by now.
I can't see Silva going there again and if he does there has to be serious question asked about what the hell is going on.
The deficiencies in the two players can not be wished away. To put them as a 2 exposes the defence and offers little to the players in front.
Its not fair on the players behind or in front of them and its especially not fair on them.
The fact is, there is no combination of players available that could play the 2.
And its a big if that Gomes will slot in to the 4-2-3-1 and solve the problems.
The formation needs to be binned for at least the foreseeable future.
 
cant see anything other than a pasting, conceding goals every game against terrible teams, got arsenal away who normally put a few past us anyway, what could go wrong

cant believe its been 22 years since we beat these lot away...and they aren't even a top tier team in England, quite embarrassing and time to put that right.

Cant see it happening this time tho....3-1 to the Arse
