Pickford
Coleman - Mina/Godfrey - Tarkowski - Mykolenko
Iwobi - Onana - Doucoure - McNeil
Gray - Simms

I think we have to try something different and this is a good opportunity to tweak our attack.

Gray and Simms will be a handful for Arsenal will additional pace and a more physical threat. We are still trying to find a formula without DCL so given our other option is Maupay, let's hope this works.

I think based on form, Coady and Gueye need to be dropped. Coady in particular has been dreadful so I am hoping we bring in either Mina or Godfrey.

I am not a huge fan of Doucoure in the middle but not many options plus next to Onana we have strength and pace to breakdown Arsenal's attacks.

We have shown improvement but it's a tough ask against Arsenal. I think if we can just see some improvement in attack which will give us more confidence in the forthcoming games.

I can't see Dyche making many changes, if any at all. The only change could be Gray up top instead of Simms or Maupay, but I doubt it. And there's a lot to be said about playing a settled side.

Agree with you there, Dave. Need everyone healthy and well rested to go for Forest. That marks the beginning to the end.
The thing is if we go into the game with the attitude that it's just a throw away game, what do you think that says to the players.
The forest game then becomes a hell of a lot harder cos you've just shown your disbelief in the players..

We have to go into every game with attitude that we can match and beat the team or at the least don't lose it.

( We can believe what we want as fans but the players have to believe the most important game is the next game )

Anyone have an insight into why we don't play gray? Presumably lack of balls into the box
As talented as gray is he doesn't play to a set system/approach, he plays to his own game. Which Dyche obviously doesn't buy into..
The lad has got everything you want in a player but his biggest downfall is himself, He wont play a quick simple pass or cross, he doesn't want a simple goal he wants everything to be the hardest and best.
He's the kind of player that if he has 5yrd tap in to an open goal he would rather take it back out just so he can round a few people before shooting.

I'm not slating the lad here, I'd love to see him playing. just painting a picture of why he wouldn't be first choice in a Dyche set-up...

I didn’t mean it as a throw away game. I just think there’s a few regulars you could rest and still be as competitive with some fresh legs. I believe we can pick up a point on Wednesday.

This is too soon I haven’t fully recovered from the weekend disappointment.
New manager bounce is fading, same problems up front + we don‘t look as solid at the back.
Just can’t see us getting anything, just hope we don’t get thrashed.
