I don’t understand British television. Over here in the states you can pay $7 a month for NBC’s peacock and have access to every single match as well as a bunch of other content. You all don’t have something similar there? That’s mental
That's really is surprising. I have to pay, but I can see pretty much watch any football match I want. I also subscribe to Peacock, but in addition I have Paramount to watch Champions League and Europa matches. And ESPN+ to watch FA Cup, Caraboa Cup, English Championship, and La Liga matches.

The 3pm blackout, which has been in place since the 1960s, prohibits matches being shown between 2:45pm and 5:15pm in order to protect attendances throughout the football pyramid. In Uefa territories, “Article 48” dictates that on a Saturday or Sunday, there must be a period when no live football can be shown on TV.

Oh and by the way, Sky Sports costs around 30 quid a month in this country.

Yes, as I understand it, It’s not even about preserving attendance at top flight matches. It’s mainly for the benefit of attendances lower down the pyramid, as you mention.

But the traditional Saturday 3pm kickoff has been so bent of shape, and continues to get worse with every new PL TV deal, that we’re getting to a point where pretty much every match will be available to be televised in the UK, anyway.

What’s the deal with Sky tomorrow? Is there a way of legally watching our game?

I could’ve sworn they allowed you to watch any game on the final day, but it doesn’t look that way. Looks like only 3 games are available.
You need to invest in a kerry Katona for that

I dunno man, Sky cant be hanging on for much longer, loads and loads are moving to *cough*, other services, sure there are other people able to step in, but I know its cool to hate on Sky, but without them we do not have the best League in the world.

We do. We pay £60 a year for a stick/box and we gets absolutely everything ??

In an alternate universe somewhere we are going into this game needing points to stay up and we're all carrying that gut wrenching knot stressing about what will happen over the next 90 mins.

Thank flip it's not this reality! UTFT.
