There's not a manager on earth who could have got that team a better league position.

Maybe not but so many bad performances in the big games. We didn't turn up at Anfield, Spurs, today or more recently at Middlesbrough, West Ham or Swansea.

Baines, Joel and Rom in patches had good games, rest could be classed as shithouses. Valencia was fair industrious to be fair as well.

The problem is going to be that those 6 above us will spend big money as well mate.

Look at UTD 98million on Pogba and they only managed 6th, it's much easier for us to close the gap in quality because those top 6 teams when they spend, the players they bring in are only slight improvements on the players they already have. When we spend however we'll be getting in players hopefully miles better than what we currently have so it's a massive improvement, it's like getting Morgan to replace Barry is a massive improvement, while if we got Morgan to replace Gana the difference wouldn't be as noticable and the top 6 teams are doing more Morgan-Gana transfers than Morgan-Barry transfers like we're looking to do. Hopefully you can make sense of what I'm trying to say

Everton have to do better,in thinking they can do and end 7th from now,in terms off been better on the pitch and thinking thats it when we are there,quite disapointed with today,expected arsenal to win 3-1 but with the sending off i expected better,Joel made more saves than he should have today v 10 men i think,and this Barkley rubbish needs t be over this week,and not let it drag on like koeman said he wouldnt,We need Lukaku or koeman to say something about that as well,to stop all the rubbish during the pre season

This mate. 15 points ahead of team behind us in the league (despite a poor run from us in recent games). But still 15 points behind 4th place. In the final analysis its no mans land really. Massive investment needed to seriously challenge for top 4. Otherwise we'll stick around 6th and 7th.

for the life of me I cannot understand why Valencia/Kone got so many minutes today. Neither of the are gonna be here next year, and it's a game that doesn't matter. Why not just chuck on Besic or Joe Williams instead?
