If the match was being played , then maybe. But if Begovic does get a few matches before Pickford is back , let’s see how he performs with a new more solid looking defence in front of him. And with Gueye pulling the strings in our much improved midfield. Begovic just might slot in perfect.
No more injuries to key players , and I’m banking that our defence and midfield get better week by week. It’s now down to our attacking players to get a few more goals. That’s my concern. Not Begovic. I think that he will be ok.
Ps…..I do admit I would be worried if Begovic also got injured.
