Bridge is a very average left back and has been for years. Been part of the England set up for years after barely playing 1 full game a season at Chelsea for years since Cole took his place...but he's been part of the furniture that they wont get rid off even though every England game he's played in, he's been shocking - case in point Croatia Euro Qualifier.

The only plus point if Baines doesnt get picked is.......He's 25. Bridge is 30 so is Cole. Its their last World Cup. Baines has another one and a Euro's in him.

He should've been picked last season with Jags (and was once before not getting a recall) - his stats even [Poor language removed] on Cashley in terms of assists and goals. Compared to Bridge he blew him out of the water. Even this season, the amount of goals Citeh have leaked in, the lack of assists and goals, and the blatant fact Bridge has been injured for over a month month says a lot.

The same with Lescott. He's been in shocking form all season and been injured for a big part....but still should go? Bah is all I say.

I can't believe the media hype around James Milner. Don't get me wrong he's a good player, very solid, but people are trying to convince themselves that he's a very good left back.

It'd comparable to us using Steven Pienaar as a backup left back.
