he's got it and deserves it.

doesn't mean we shouldn't be bringing in another leader though. Jags for me is a model pro but not a 'natural' leader - though he's earned the right to be captain with his performances since his arrival.

Williams organises and has more of a presence. Jags is more of a 'last ditch' defender, as good as he is at it.

I think he's got it mate because other than Gareth Barry there are no candidates,like I said before,I admire Jags as a player and person but he's virtually next to nothing as a skipper for me.

I do think he lacks 'presence', I agree, and Williams would certainly bring that. No downsides to the transfer should it come off, IMO.

Looked miles away from fitness , carrying a bit of timber & drenched in sweat after 5 mins on the pitch.Nice to see him back tho.
