I agree with you, I don't think Baines and Coleman have ever been great defensively. Baines has been out of form for 2 years, Coleman is good going forwards but can't cross to save his life, which kind of nullifies the threat of an attacking fullback and Jags is a good CB and been a great servant to the club but if we want to push on we need someone younger and with a bit more height\pace preferably.

I wont go throwing too many names around but i think if we have a back 4 then Galloway has proven himself more than capable of performing there in what would be a defensive minded system.

On the right weve seen Davies, Kenny and Connolly get minutes but if we made 2 more defensive signings in Koulibaly and Kone we could play a very strong 4 or 5...

Yeah, crazy world. Gibson has got ability but he's a drunk, has no morals and is always injured.
