Williams doesn't score many goals, he's even said it himself. Mori gets a lot for a defender but I wouldn't expect Williams to.

Hopefully they sort set pieces out this year (penalties & free kicks).. get the best player for that set piece to take it and none of the same s**t as the last couple of seasons, where they're sharing it around. If you're not the best at that set pieces, walk away from it!

I was amazed to read Galloway is going on loan. I thought he made a big impression on Koeman in last season's game at St Mary's. Poor move, imo. He doesn't need to step down a division, especially if we're playing that new Johnstones Trophy competition this season. There was at least 4 games there for him and the possibility of more after the group stages. Benitez will ruin him.

Youve already mentioned that Koeman wont play young lads unless theyre better than everyone else...hard for galloway and others to get any games imo.

Hopefully, Mori is great at attacking headers. Not completely convinced about Mori defensively but he's useful for attacking set pieces. Will be interesting to see which defenders RK picks as first choice. Seems like we'll sign at least one more CB though so I guess Williams + 1.

Grabbed a pretty important one against Belgium. That might make him work/try harder with that added bit of self belief.

Hope so. He's great at defending which is the main thing. Anything else is a bonus to me.

If Koeman brought Bertrand from Southampton I'd be pleased.

I agree with you, I don't think Baines and Coleman have ever been great defensively. Baines has been out of form for 2 years, Coleman is good going forwards but can't cross to save his life, which kind of nullifies the threat of an attacking fullback and Jags is a good CB and been a great servant to the club but if we want to push on we need someone younger and with a bit more height\pace preferably.

Not this window Zat, it would be utter madness.

Koeman MUST retain a certain aspect of the squad, certain players, as much as you want it, a wholesale squad change in 1 window would be utterly mental and considering I think we will sign at least another 6 players, no Zat, just no.
