Thought he started off well for us after signing but for the most part, he's just not really been the player I thought he'd be. He's mostly OK but not even close to Distin for example.

We need at least 1 utter monster at the back, for me. We lack height and physicality there. And pace. And fitness. And... well basically we're just lacking. I'd keep Williams as a squad player but hopefully one of these teased VDV or Koulibaly type signings happen this summer.

This is the problem when you sign old players. Most of them don't have the drive they used too as a youngster and to me it looks like he's here to just take a pay check and see out his career

That's what he tried, he couldn't really do much about it. We should have bought him 2 or 3 season's ago though. He's been a great premier league defender but last season at swansea he was showing his decline.

I don't think he's had any brilliant games for us, but our defence is massively better with him there, it needed a proper leader and that's what he is. Our defence has been great this season, just found a bit wanting in the big away games.
