Why does every player need a sell on value? Yes he is an experienced player, but he is just what we need in a position we are weak in. Couldn't care less if he retires whilst playing for us. It's what he offers us on the pitch that matters, not resale value and money in the bank.

I'm glad you agree we could do better for £15 million players who are younger as well.

Did you miss the "lesser" players part of that???

If he was Ashlino Williamsavaro i doubt people would have such an issue.

"cultured" they'd say.

We have zero leaders and zero people who stand up when the crap is hitting the fan. We need more players who will stand up and drag us through. Young players rarely do that.

Let alone some wet fart going for £15m like Ibe.
