i think he looked pretty replaceable when he didnt score a goal for 10+ games in a row... i dunno man, i know i'll get roasted for that last comment, but based on the way we played a high energy pressing style in preseason, isolating defenders one on one with speedy agile attackers, im not sure he will fit the role? ive got a man crush on lacazette at the moment, i feel he could play the role del-boy played up front, hes got just as much pace, if not more then del, the only difference is he can score a goal, lots of them, and im pretty sure 30-40m would get lyon talking.. best part would be that if we got him, it would be the second arsenal target we steal from under their nose (they wanted williams too)
If Arsenal really wanted Williams I´m pretty sure they would have won that battle with us. Sadly regardless how much money we offer Lyon Lacazette won't join us. He definitely will join a top 10 club in Europe... We are not there and "the new project" does not yet indicate that is where we will go. The problem is even with 75m from a Lukaku sale we would not be able to get in the same quality as the player would not want to come.

I think before this gets the "Confirmed Signing" prefix, it would be nice if one of the mods online ( @roydo, @Groucho or @Bruce Wayne ), ackowledge the fact that @ALANSTUBBS was willing to stick his neck on the line, and made this thread an official "Transfer Rumour" thread by giving it the proper blue prefix.

who knows mate, youd think koemans next move wouldve been to a CL club too, but hes sold on the dream, and to sell a dream to koeman, who has been sold the dream several times through-out his lucrative career, im sure there some substance to what we can offer, the dream and financially... i do agree with you though, highly doubt he would look at efc unfortunately... but 75 mil for rom, and the mosh freaks out that we have no striker, who knows how far he will go, and how much money he could potentially throw at the new man. everything has a price in this world my friend, i can only hope lol!
