I thought he was in denial initially and thought he'd got away with it until VAR stepped in. Have to say, I felt a bit for him as he probably knows this is his last fling at this level.

One of the worst sequences of refereeing I've seen for a long time. Capped off with him inexplicably not being booked.

Fair. Young was lucky to escape the second yellow. How the ref didn't give it initially was remarkable as it was so obvious.
I've seen Brooks referee quite a few games this season and he is only in his second season at Prem level. He was dropped for a couple of games at the end of last season after a mistake costing Brighton a good goal. Mistakes are pretty common for him from what I've seen. Think he screwed Wolves over a few weeks back as well but there again, most ref's have been doing that!

Two horrendous mistakes now against former clubs. Villa he threw the ball to put their striker clean through and score. Man utd he made a shocking challenge at a key time in the match which was decisive.

Whenever he plays against a decent winger it's curtains. Coleman or Patterson from now please. Young can be an option off the bench, even as cover for the wings

Smacks of Dyche being persistent with Keane last season until he couldn't... he shouldn't be playing for us... why can everyone see this but the chuffing manager
