Think the booing was more for the actual sub rather than it strictly being aimed directly at him. Think people were frustrated that it wasn't Dixon coming on instead.
What was funny though was a moment in like the 85th minute when he went to retrieve a loose ball over on our left and I think, collectively, the fans kinda knew that he would do something to potentially mess up and get the ball robbed off him by their player - which he nearly did when he slipped over and it got an ironic cheer from the fans
