Yep agree with all that , he was even in the right position to head clear a dangerous cross, definitely an old head on his shoulders , shame about his old legs though! I can see him and Seamus alternating for the rest of the season .

Hugely improved this season in general and has extended to include assists and a goal. Remarkable given his age.

He has to be considered for a rest now though given other options that are fit and available.

Coleman at leat overlapped & forced a corner - our first to 72 minutes at home ....... can see Patterson being back on the bench v City

Would seriously think about a year's extension given recent performances. Might not play much but could be a Scott Carson type figure behind the scenes and on the grass training with the younger lads. Fitness levels are above and beyond players 10/15 years younger than him.

Very pleasant surprise all season long. Hated him last year, love him this year.

Seeing that he is so far one of the players of the season he needs a year extention.
