when he got an extension for this season I didnt think it was a horrific idea, we dont need to pay a sign on fee, his wages wont be huge, and you know pretty much what you are going to get from him. He's an experienced old pro. He wont go bombing on into advanced overlaps, and he wont be sprinting back for desperate goal lone clearances but his positional play will be there or thereabouts, he'll take a pro's yellow card for the lads. He got sent off against the RS but he's had very early bookings before and seen the game out OK.
Again for next season, it isnt ideal of course but we arent conceding many goals with a defence that he is a part of.
