2024/25 Ashley Young

It's a shame Ashley Young didn't just go to ground more naturally for the penalty instead of flying through the air like Superman.
To be fair the likes of Ronaldo dives when it's a foot tackle.
For a shirt pull he'll feign treading through mud and stop dead.....glaring at ref with an exasperated look. Far more effective.👌 Surprised a player of Youngs experience dived really. Not the situation.

A short story

The End.

No one else to bring on and Lindstrom was poor Joey.

Young wasn't too bad tonight, actually went defensive when Jake got ahead of him

Potter for them looked very dangerous
Don’t think he had a bad game when he came on. Ask him to just do the basics and he is fine. Going forwards wasn’t great, particularly remember a horrendous cross he put in.

As said after man United, 10-15 minutes works for him, longer than that and he seems to struggle.

Needs must as well. Literally no one else to rotate with, so once Lindstrom is ineffective the next in line is Young which isn't ideal.

Squad is completely depleted. We've got Wolves on the 8th and West Ham on the 15th, then another break until the rs on the 2nd April. We're going to need players back from that point on. If we don't, there's just no way we won't pick up injuries from fatigue playing the rs and Arsenal in 4 days.
