What sort of allocation will we get for this?

I’d just throw you in the North Stand if it was up to me 6.5k tickets . I reckon you’d probably sell most of that too, what you think ?

Although a date has not been confirmed for the above game, its likely that it will be Wednesday 27th September. The week before, Villa are involved in the Europa league which will push their Premier league game with Chelsea to the Sunday. So, for me, the cup game will be Wednesday.

Hope it is the 27th, it's my 70th birthday that day, surely Everton wouldn't lose on my big birthday. They wouldn't, would they? Would they?

We will still be learning what football is, and how we are supposed to pass it about a bit before putting it in the net.

Just seen the prices around the ground and it looks like you’re only having the usual 3k for some reason . Ticket prices for adults in Villa end £42.50 most expensive and £30 cheapest so probably won’t sell out but should be good crowd turn up .

Out of interest I wonder (and its not necessarily true) is it the most played cup game?

Definitely the most played league fixture.

Went down a rabbit hole (slow day at work) trying to find cup game results but couldn’t find anything. I’ll be honest I hadn’t known that Villa have won the league cup five times

I would guess we’d be given an extra 2 or 3 blocks in the Doug Ellis stand, in addition to and next to the normal away section. Something like blocks M1 / P7 / P8.

Not sure if those blocks are easily segregated from the home supporters in the concourse though. Did you notice if they were open to sale to Villa fans mate?

They were also priced up for Villa fans . I have just read , nothing official but a few Villa fans saying you’ve asked for the maximum allocation possible and that you’ve been given the north stand , so that’s around 6.5k
