I've been saying he's ****e in the starting XI mate and has been stinking the place out for years as an automatic starter. Do you disagree with that? Please go and find one of my posts that says otherwise. I'll reply once you've backed up what you're attempting to claim. x

You've never advocated using Osman off the bench, all you've ever done is take pot shots at the fella.

I didn't have to look far to destroy your supposed desire to see him used off the bench, as you posted the following on the 24th, LMAO at your shameless hypocrisy.

Pienaar looked good last game when he came on, and he's had a full week's training. He must surely start. Deulofeu his replacement after an hour if he's tired, not Osman.

Butters you said this only a week ago

Osman should not be anywhere near the first team, He shouldn't even get a place on the bench

Yeah, massively.

From what I can remember:

Benteke took a good penalty which was saved brilliantly by the goalkeeper.

Benteke decided to shoot from an angle instead of squaring it for a team mate who was in a better position.

Agbonlahor didn't make a decent connection when the ball was played to him and the ball flew into Howard's arms instead.

Weimann was through on goal and didn't shoot quickly enough, allowing Howard to make a save after coming to the edge of the area.

- Kone had an open goal and hit the post from three yards.

So, if Kone's missed an easy one - ie. missed when he should've scored, and Torres missed when he should've scored- and Villa's misses were from chances where they should've scored - what's the difference?

Can we afford to keep letting them make loads of mistakes, despite their 'important tackles'? Isn't that what they're paid to do anyway? They were sliced open about three times on Saturday and really looked shakey. Agree that Coleman wasn't his usual energetic self and had an off-day, but I'm sure you'll agree the penalty was a complete joke of a decision and he couldn't have done anything about it if Benteke trips himself up and the ref blows for a PK.

In any case, let's not dwell on defensive mistakes; we did keep a clean sheet (more by Villa having a major off-day in front of goal) and got a fantastic three points. Bravo to Martinez for having the balls to put Osman on the bemch and using him in the role loads of us have been craving for years.

You're being a bit tough on them.

Benteke will give any defence big problems. But our boys upped their game in the 2nd half, and for all their hard work, we restricted Villa to that one chance that fell to Agbonlahor.

Stats say that they had 3 shots on target. You can't really argue with that!

My mam is from Nottingham and I've had a strong connection to it for many years. I've been to the City ground a few times
at Everton matches - I'm pretty sure Mick Lyons was playing his 1st game once, we lost 3-2, and I remember Roy Vernon, I think, being sent off, we won 2-1 - also seen them play Blackburn. It's a friendly place and in a pleasant area.

Cue. People to tell us about violent attacks from Forest hooligans.

Oh, I've been to see Notts County as well.

Plus, it's got a Hooters!

...yep, it's butters alright

Can someone please explain to me what happened to allow Benteke one on one with Howard.

Distin commits himself high up the field and Jagielka tries to play the offside trap. Why were they doing this? Both left for dead and they are supposed to be one of the leading partnerships in the league. If Benteke squared it, we would've been 1-0 down no problem. Our defence does not look as tight as what it should and once did.

We've conceded one less goal than we had after 9 games last year and we're also 2 points higher up the table.

So despite our defence 'looking less tight' than last season we're getting more points and letting in less goals.

Lets not forget no clean sheets in 18 games last season
