Your missing the point, Its not just the players that are poor, its the way he sets up to play the games. defend, defend, defend, no matter who the opposition team is, its absolute boring to watch and unless he changes his ideas when and if we get new players it will always be the same. Nobody expects to have a Man City or Chelsea alike overnight but surely we don't have to set up to defend every time we play.
Like I said look at the players he has brought in. There are many he has had to take on and if the sum parts do not equal the expected results then he has to do with what he has at his disposal. Maybe that is a main reason he has to compromise with tactics due to personnel. The setting up to defend seems like the only way he can get results currently with who he has available. The expansive game seems to be costing us games.

I am an old man and have seen many poor teams in my time, but I have also seen many very very good teams as well and that is why I find it difficult to stomach the turgid football we are watching at the moment.
Even the great Howard Kendall was not so great to start with.......................nearly cost him his job playing turgid football but eventually he got there and we became thankful of his slow but important build up

We need to come back next season playing actual football, or I fear that it'll be the end of our love affair with Carlo.
I think last year he told them to come back with a different attitude for this season. I’m not sure they were listening.

I think it's the perfect time to fuk off out of this league and join up with The Super League.

At least when we get beat it will be Barca, Real or Juventus

So, after as a season which started with some new players that years ago we could only dream of signing ('blockbuster signings land' in our AGM report) and spending that most clubs in europe would be envious of, a centre forward who was on fire, 4 wins at the start and top after 6, 2nd at Christmas, best start since 1894, a world class manager, cup runs which suggested silverware and LFC having their worst form in living memory.

We manage to fashion a final position no better than Moyes, Martinez, Koeman and Silva managed.

Moshiri must be wondering how good his £400m investment has been, nil return. We lost £140m in 2019/20, I expect that is likely to increase in 2020/21.

Where's the joy, we'll probably qualify for the Europa conference which has LD vans trophy written all over it. Who'd have thought there would be a european competition that the Europa League looks down on

I wince when I think of how much money we have wasted especially having waited an age to finally get some. There is a brittleness about our squad and a lack of heart. You simply have to match your opponent for work rate and desire to win - otherwise you are generally cattle trucked. We have neither enough quality, energy or pace. Even our good players are not that good. Allan and Doucoure were shocking last night. I read Richarlison’s stats in The Echo. If that was the Irish League he would have been hooked shortly after half-time for contributing next to nothing. Even his defensive work was poor last night. I just don’t see it And the rolling about in agony when brushed really does my head in. I would let him go for anything around the 40 million we paid. When I think about it the only ones I fully trust are Digne, Allan and DCL.
